For ANIPIO the theme of research in the field of infectious risk plays a key role, so much that it has made it one of the main points of its mission. In 2015, the commitment to scientific research resulted in the conduct of a trial on the nebulization of hydrogen peroxide as disinfection technique aimed at preventing the transmission of HAI. The results of this research were presented at the X ANIPIO National Congress which was held in Riva Del Garda in October 2016.
Since then, the commitment has been constant and in 2017 it has been realized with the definition, among others, of a new study trial on hygiene, of national surveys and of an epidemiological study. All this to spread the knowledge and culture of infectious risk.
Below is the publications list of the studies and trials carried out.
The ANIPIO Scientific Committee has conducted a cross sectional study on "ISRI and COVID-19" intended to describe (1) some anagraphic -professional characteristics of nurses dealing with infectious risk/care-related infections at their place of work and (2) professional experience of nurses dealing with infectious risk during the COVID-19 pandemic.
